4-H Adventure Camp Registration


All Edwards County 4-H'ers are invited to camp this summer! The Heart of Kansas 4-H Camp is a great experience for youth to learn more about their natural surroundings. Held at Rock Springs Ranch near Junction City, campers have the opportunity to canoe, fish, hike, swim, and explore the great outdoors. Edwards County will be camping in June. All 4-H members, grades 2-8 are welcome to register. Please see the camp registration flier below or click on the links for more details! Camp registration is DUE MAY 1st.

Fill out a Registration Brochure and return to the Edwards County Extension office with payment NO LATER than May 1st. 

Once your child has registered for camp, read the following Heart of Kansas Camp Guide to find out what to pack, activities your child will participate in, dress code, cell phone policy, and travel information.  Please call the Edwards County Extension Office at 620-659-2149 if you have any questions.  You will also need to complete the Camp Medication form and return to the Extension Office as directed by the form.

We are always in need of responsible teens to serve as camp counselors. Counselors have a huge influence on the success of a camp and can have a great impact on the campers. Heart of Kansas Camp Counselors must be 15 years of age or older. If selected to serve as a camp counselor, your registration fees are paid for by 4-H Council (bonus!). If you wish to serve as a camp counselor this summer, please fill out the Camp Counselor Application and turn it in to the Edwards County Extension Office NO LATER than May 1st.
